I want to join the board because I am passionate about Ride & Tie and helping it prosper.

I’d wanted to do a Ride & Tie ever since I learned about it from a magazine over 20 years ago, long before I ever owned a horse. Although it took me until two years ago to finally be able to participate in my first event, since then I have completed 9 rides and recruited 6 others (and counting!) to partner with me or on my horses. This year, I am the race director for the first Ride & Tie in Pittsburgh and am hosting an intro clinic to help bring in new participants.

In addition to being an active participant and promoter of Ride & Tie events, I have volunteer leadership experience as the president of my fraternity and university polo team, and as the chair of a youth group. Finally, I have strong technical skills as a software engineer.
