Thursday, June 29th -Kids day & relays, All day BBQ $10 per plate. General membership meeting.
Friday, June 30th --9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.-Vet-In, 6 p.m. Race Meeting
Saturday, July 1st - Race Starts at 7:00 A.M. Dinner at 4p.m. Awards Ceremony at 7 p.m.
Tuesday, July 4th- Camp closes.
*Please note that base camp is not at the same location as the usual Santa Ysabel Ride and Tie. For the championship, base camp is further down Mesa Grande.
From the North: I-15 South to Highway 79 East at Temecula. Stay on Highway 79 until you are 1.7 miles from Santa Ysabel and the junction of Highway 78 & Highway 79. Turn right on Mesa Grande Rd. Follow for 2.1 mile to entry of horse camp on the left.
From the South: Highway 67 north from El Cajon to Ramona. Continue on 67, which becomes Highway 78 to Santa Ysabel. Turn left on Highway 79. Follow for 1.7 miles to Mesa Grande Road. Turn left & follow for 2.1 miles. Base camp is on the left.
From the East: Follow Highway 79 West from Julian to Santa Ysabel. Turn right at the Junction and go 1.7 miles to Mesa Grande Road. Turn left and follow for 2.1 miles to base camp located on the left.
The championship may be the main reason you are going down to San Diego this summer, but while you are there, be sure to check out some of the best places around:
