This year's
World Championship Ride & Tie will be held in the Kootenai
National Forest near Libby, Montana.
In conjunction
with the 35 mile Championship Ride & Tie, there will
be a 15 mile Fun Ride & Tie, a 35 mile Trail Run, and on Sunday morning,
a Biathlon 20 K ride/10 K run, which can be run as a Team or an individual.

RACE WEEK AGENDA AND DETAILS
* Saturday, July 2nd: Camp opens at Munro's meadow outside
of Libby, Montana. Activities for the week include horseshoes, volleyball
and badminton.
* Sunday,
July 3rd: 10am Clinic/Practice Ride and Tie using Loop2. FREE! Evening
at the group area: Dessert Potluck and Tunes.
* Monday,
July 4th: Fireworks outside of Red Dog Saloon and Pizza!
* Tuesday,
July 5th: Evening at the group area: Dessert Potluck and Tunes.
* Wednesday,
July 6th: Lake Koocanusa Resort Caterer meals and snacks through
the weekend! Evening at the group area: Dessert Potluck and Tunes
* Thursday,
July 7th: Merchandise sale begins, 1 pm
General Membership Meeting (Points Champions Recognition), 7pm
barbeque and potluck, we supply the meat, horse archery demonstration
following dinner.
* Friday,
July 8th: Registration Noon to Dusk, Vet in your horse at 3pm to
Dusk, Farrier (available by phone), Press Briefing at 6:30pm, Ride
Meeting at 7:30pm
* Saturday,
July 9th: 7am Late Registration and vetting in horses, 9 am Championship
Race begins, 9 am Ultra Trail Run begins, 9:30 am Short Course
R&T
begins, Farrier available all day, Judging for Best Condition,
at 7 pm Roast Pig Banquet/Shaw's Margarita Party. Awards and Drawing
for saddle, Montana Old Time Fiddlers for your entertainment.
* Sunday,
July 10th: 8 am Biathlon begins. Camp closes.
DIRECTIONS TO RACE SITE
Take Highway 37 north from Libby. Go ½ mile after crossing the
Kootenai River, turn left on to Highway 567 (Pipe Creek Road). Travel
5 miles on paved road to Munro’s Meadow. Turn left on dirt driveway.
There will be signs and ribbons.

ACCOMODATIONS
Camping will be in the Munro’s large tree lined meadow. Horse
water will be available. No campfires. Dogs must be on leash. Roosters
restrained.

voice and instruments, we will be playing tunes)
Horse shoes,
volleyball, and badminton available
